Twenty-eight teams started the 2018 Sevenstar Round Britain and Ireland Race, organised by the Royal Ocean Racing Club, on Sunday 12th August 2018. Amongst them, Hannah Stodel in the Class 40 Region Normandie.
A C Marine & Composites is immensely proud to continue to support Hannah Stodel Racing. This will be Hannah’s longest offshore race to date, moving her one step closer to becoming the first disabled sailor to complete the Vendée Globe.
The Sevenstar Round Britain and Ireland Race is one of the toughest offshore races that one can complete; given the navigational challenges, varying weather systems and complicated tidal gates. Add to this the fact that Hannah will be completing the race as a single-handed disabled skipper, by no means an easy feat. You can track her progress on Yellow Brick with “Region Normandie” or via Facebook or Instagram.
